Patient Description Sudden illness, accident, breathing issues, no pulse, head/spinal injury, severe bleeding, pain in the chest or abdomen, vomiting or passing blood, poison ingestion, shock, cardiac arrest etc.

Services Provided Ambulatory care Helicopter/ air transport Emergency rescue Emergency care clinics/ centers Emergency departments inside hospitals EMT treatment (Emergency Medical Technician)

Co$t Related to the severity of a patients’ illness or injury The bill increases when extensive diagnostic testing and treatment is necessary

Type of Employees EMT (At hospitals, fire departments etc.) Different levels: Basic, Intermediate, Paramedic First responder Other physicians as determined by case
