 The following formula will be used to calculate the final average in Civics.  Quarter 1 & Quarter 2 Average= 35%, Quarter 3 & Quarter 4 Average = 35%, EOC = 30%

 Sims Middle School had the third highest scores on the 7 th grade Civics EOC for Santa Rosa County with 82% of our students demonstrating proficiency.  Sims Middle School attained the largest percentage of students scoring a Level 5 in the county. 33% of our students scored a Level 5 on the Civics EOC exam with the next closest school at 28% and the state average at 16%.  Sims Middle School ranked in the top 5% of all middle schools in the state of Florida.
