Campus High School AYP Report 2006

Mission The mission of Campus High School is to prepare students to be life-long learners and responsible, contributing citizens in a changing world.

Our Vision for Campus High School 1. Graduation rate of 90% by Meet AYP in reading, writing and math. 3. Provide a safe, nurturing environment for our students.

Reading Interventions Students will infer word meanings by the use of relationships such as analogies, similes and metaphors.

Reading Standard of Excellence!!!!! 2006

….. Other interventions ACCESS team. Seminar remediation for students not at grade level. White Fridays. Increased enrollment in Honors and A.P. courses. MAPS testing.

Math Interventions Students will develop and implement math skills unique to their classes on a regular basis.

…. Other Math interventions. Enrollment of students in higher level courses. ACCESS team. Willingness of some of our best teachers to teach the lower level students. Focus on 8-10 essentials. MAPS testing. Seminar remediation for students not at grade level.

Math – made AYP through safe harbor. What does that mean? If a school meets all measures of quality. (graduation rate, attendance rate and participation rate). …… and percentage of students not proficient decreases at least 10% from previous year….. then We make AYP!!!!
