Model of Assignment

Today’s Goals! Today as a class we will be making a Letter Model Train! Quite like the one in the video we have just watched! As a class can we all decide on certain materials we will need to make our train?

Materials! Construction paper Glue Scissors Pipe Cleaners Animals and Letters Markers And IMAGINATION

Pyramid of our Progress Over the Next Week! LETTERS SOUNDS WHAT WORD BEGINS WITH EACH LETTER?

Putting It Together! As a class we brainstormed and found countless words to identify with each letter And since we ALL love animals let’s find animals for each letter! Such as “A” is for “Ant” We may even have to swim deep into the Sea to find new animals to investigate!

!!!!Discovery Kids!!!! !!!!National Geographic's!! For this part of the assignment we will be using Discovery Kids and National Geographic’s Kids! While looking under the animal search bar, lets see what new animals we can come across! What letter does YOUR favorite animal begin with? Let’s sketch and color a picture of our favorite animal holding their fun new letter! ANIMALS!!! MORE ANIMALSS!! ANIMALS!!!MORE ANIMALSS!!

Games? Animal Alphabet Game! Zoo Keyboard Game This game is helping you guys practice better with typing and it even ties into this weeks lesson!

BOOKS!! Growing up I read a series of books called the Alphapets! The Alphapets are books that not only emphasis letters and animals but also important life lessons! Here are some photos of some of the books we will be looking into!
