OGC ® Issues NASA and Hawaiian Airlines will both be operating in the same region for one of these Campaigns – ATTREX Hawaiian Airlines and NASA ARC are already collaborating at a low level – HA uses the FAA SUA electronic maps currently being generated by NASA ARC. Situational awareness over ocean regions, especially the Pacific, has been inadequate for flight planning and operations. We are defining mechanisms to make weather radar data collected by the NASA Global Hawk and Hawaiian Airlines Airbus aircraft available in real-time. We intend to make this available to the Aviation thread of OWS-8. Copyright © 2010 Open Geospatial Consortium
