in the classroom What is wikia? Classroom use Use out of the classroom Why use Wikia?

What is Wikia? Wikia is a place where users can create and edit wiki pages for whichever topic they are interested in. Wikia is free and anyone can start an account and create their own wiki. People use it all over the globe to talk about and inform others on topics they are very interested in.

Classroom Use There are many pages on Wikia that are used in the classroom or by teachers for classroom work. Education on Wikia is a page designed as a resource for teachers where they can interact and work. This site also has tips for teaching methods and lesson plans for all grades and even business ideas.

Uses Out of The Classroom Wikia is being used in many different ways. It is a way to advertise and inform others. Wikia is a place where people with certain interests can share and collaborate with others who are interested in the same things. Wikia has a huge array of gaming sites on some of the more popular video games.

Why should you use Wikia? Wikia is a way for you to learn more or help inform others about a certain topic. You will either feel good about helping others or you’ll feel good because you learned something new! It is great for classroom help, a teacher can find many ways to use Wikia creatively and in fun methods while still teaching their students.
