6 th and 7 th grade Checking Schedules: Sign into Skyward using your sID as username and Npin as password. On the left, click on schedule. Click on View Requests for in Vernon Schrade Middle School. Select courses that were chosen on their paper Choice of Subject Course selection will be open to view through the Parent Skyward. Adjustments to Schedules Our policy is that once the school year has started changes will only be made under special circumstances. If a student cannot participate in a class that requires outside participation, i.e. band, choir, athletics, change requests will be honored. All change request will be considered the first 2 weeks of school, after the first 6 weeks and at semester. If there is an extenuating circumstance please contact the counselors.
8 th grade Choice of subject will be held through guidance lessons with their counselor. Students will receive their high school specific choice of subject form on April 7 th and will meet with the counselors to fill it out. High school specific course guides will also come home to help with course selection. It will be sent home with them that day for parent review and signature. Students will input their classes on April 15 with the counselors at school. Parents will then be able to view classes through Skyward.

Jump Start Current 8 th grade students can earn high school credit at no cost. Courses offered Personal Fitness Heath Ed (requires parent permission form) Speech Registration is March Parent Meetings on Wednesday, March 25th at 8 am in the library Thursday, March 26 th at 6 pm in the library Applications are available in the counseling center and must be turned in no later than 4pm on Friday, March 27th
House Bill V Requirements for graduation have changed as of last year. Students are required to have 26 credits and pick an endorsement We plan to go over this information with all current 8 th grade students.
