Shelter and Non Food Relief Destroyed - 860,000 (GOB statistics as of 1 Augu Damaged million ( “ ) Human cost: 19.9 million people are homeless  Lack of security and protection especially for women and children,  May lead to: Migration, Broken family, trafficking of women and children Response to Date : GOB: 3409 bundles of CI sheets, $ 100,000 as house building grants SCF (UK): families, and Islamic Relief:5000 families – House repairing support (worth $1.2 million)

Critical Needs: Areas to be Addressed House Repair: 623,129 households: 20% of damaged houses Total cost: $54 million. House Building: 171,897: 20% of the destroyed (preference to households of female headed and elderly): Total cost : $40 million

Critical Needs: Areas to be Addressed 2 Repairing of community facilities damaged by floods: Each family to get 60 days work to repair and rebuild community facilities like internal (earthen) village roads, rehabilitation of ponds, raising the school grounds etc. 10% of the affected families: 300,000 families Total cost: $30 million GRAND TOTAL: $124 Million
