Science Goal: Developing students’ scientific knowledge and skills Daily science booklets provide experience and background knowledge in all areas of science so students gain exposure to science content throughout the year. Science Fusion, classroom activities, projects, inquiry labs, and Science Lab, enhance science knowledge and skills. Students are responsible for knowing : The Nature of Science, Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth Science. A science contract was sent home with grading scale, expectations, and classroom rules. It was signed by parents and glued into science notebooks. LEARN is a web portal that allows students to access their textbook, take practice mini-assessments, and utilize other science resources to practice for benchmark assessments.

Social Studies All grades will be studying geography, economics, and government. Fourth grade will have an emphasis on Florida, while fifth grade will concentrate on US History.
