What to Turn in on May 1? Turn in: DVD w/ first and last name, period #, & 2015 (please bring in a case/sleeve/zip-lock) Print out of lyrics Works Cited in MLA format (cite songs, movie clips, etc) Printed Script I WILL BE KEEPING ALL OF THESE ITEMS - BURN EXTRA COPIES!

BEFORE What You Should NOT Do BEFORE You Present DO NOT Upload your video to YouTube DO NOT watch your senior project with another class

SHOULD What You SHOULD Do Before You Present Show your completed project to a parent/guardian/close adult family member. You will share his/her/their reaction with the class on presentation day. Remind them that teacher will be using a rubric to grade the project.

Q & A Q: My computer does not burn DVDs - can I bring my project on a flash drive? A: NO Q: Can I just upload my project to YouTube or Vimeo instead of a DVD? A: NO Q: What if I am sick or absent on May 1? A: DON’T BE! Project must be in my hands before the end of the school day – figure it out.

What NOT to Wear

Men Suggested Apparel - Dress slacks - Belt - Collared shirt & tie - Polo - Dress shoes NO FLIP FLOPS

Women Suggested Apparel - Dress / Skirt (not too short) - Dress pants - Nice blouse/shirt - Small jewelry - Light makeup - Flats/heels (professional) NO FLIP FLOPS

What to Say? Title – Does your title support your theme? How? Parents’ reaction – (more than “My mom cried.”) Quotation – One that is significant to you Must be memorized Cite Explain why it is significant An inspirational person in your life Explain your relationship Why this person is important to you By completing this project, what did you learn about yourself? About your family? About technology?

Keep in Mind Your life is not being graded or judged. Your project will be scored based on the rubric. You will not receive your score until EVERYONE has presented.
