What do you do in WWO? As a candidate you: Work together with your partner(s) to agree what you want to do, how you are going to do it and who is going to do what. Play your part, cooperating with others in the group Evaluate activity and suggest improvements for the future.
What do you do in WWO? As an assessor you: Help the candidate to decide on a suitable target Judge (along with the candidate) which evidence meets the criteria Authenticate evidence of meetings, etc. Assess how the candidate has worked cooperatively Ensure tracking is accurate
Working With Others – level 1 Two discrete examples; one group and one working one-to-one Objective and working methods set externally Candidate identifies what needs to be done and checks their responsibilities and working methods. Candidates obtain necessary resources and follow given work methods in a safe manner. Help may be given where appropriate. Candidates offer support to others, report on own progress and suggest ways of improving work relationships.
Working With Others – Level 2 Two discrete examples; at least one group Candidates must plan work with partner(s), identify objectives, clarify responsibilities and confirm working methods. Candidates organise their own tasks, working cooperatively and seeking advice where necessary. Candidates to exchange information on progress, evaluate performance (process not product) and agree ways of working with others.
Working with Others – level 3 At least one substantial activity that involves some group work Candidates take on responsibility for planning complex work; agreeing objectives, responsibilities and working arrangements. Candidates seek to maintain cooperative working arrangements over a period of time (at least two progress reviews must take place). Candidates review progress identifying reasons for success/failure and agreeing ways to improve working with others.
Activity ‘Sticky’ points In groups – examine how sample portfolios cover these. How could the evidence be improved? As a group, choose possible activity and consider evidence. Present findings to whole group.
