Watch University Grow On May 16, legislators, community leaders and the medical community gathered for University Health Care System's groundbreaking ceremony for the largest expansion and renovation project in its history, and one of the largest in the city of Augusta.

Watch Us Grow The expansion includes: A new $50 million Cardiovascular Center that will bring the region's latest technology in cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment together under one roof. 72 universal patient rooms that will allow staff to care for patients in one room rather than moving them from room to room as their medical conditions change. An Outpatient Center with a dedicated entrance and convenient parking. Renovated and expanded surgical suites to accommodate robotics and other emerging technologies.
