HADHART NUH PEACE BE UPON HIM Hadhrat Nuh (peace be upon him) was a prophet of Allah Father’s name was Lamech He was nine generations after Hadhrat Adam He was a Law-Bearing Prophet meaning that he brought Shariah, a Divine Law A righteous man, blameless among the people of his time “Walked with God” meaning all his act were according to the will of God

People return to idol worship Wadd: an idol made in the shape of a man, represented manly power Suwa: an idol made in the shape of a woman, represented female beauty Yaghuth: believed this god could rescue them in hardship Ya'au: shape of a horse represented speed, believed this particular god would come quickly in order to prevent their enemy from doing harm Nasr: shape of an eagle, representing long life

HADHART NUH(PEACE BE UPON HIM)BUILTS AN ARK The people of his time did not believe his teaching He warned them that they would be punished The disbelievers asked for the punishment to come Hadhrat Nuh said only Allah the Almighty could decide that Hadhrat Nuh prayed to Allah Allah told Hadhrat Nuh to built an ark and take all his believers and animals on it Hadhrat Nuh quickly followed Allah commands Disbelievers laughed at him and his believers and thought they had gone mad His own wife and son were part of the disbelievers which made his naturally disappointed When the storm came all of the disbelievers drowned and Hadhrat Nuh and his believers had been saved May Allah bless Hadhrat Nuh and his believers
