OUR MISSION: To guide those far from God into the new start found in Jesus Christ.

Book of Acts Chapter 15 Acts 15:19 “…that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.” Our Church should be characterized by such an environment

How do we know if we are accomplishing God’s purpose? The picture on the box Puzzles Luke was a disciple of the Apostle Paul

Acts 2:42-47 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

Two categories: Those who go to church Those who are being the church What do we see when we look at the picture on the box of God’s church?

First Thought Everyone is known Acts 2:44 & 46 “All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…” James 1: 6-9 “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

First Thought Everyone is known Acts 2:44 & 46 “All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…” A willingness to be vulnerable Investment requires risk Jesus calls us to relationship

Second Thought Everyone is needed Acts 2:45 “Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” One Support The Hebrew word for tithe is - ma‛ăśar Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the L ORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

Second Thought Everyone is needed Acts 2:45 “Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” Two Serve Romans 12:4 “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function.” (NLT) 1 Corinthians 12:12 “The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.” (NLT)

Third Thought Everyone is changing Acts 2:47b “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Going beyond the event of change 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his (Christ’s) likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

OUR MISSION: To guide those far from God into the new start found in Jesus Christ.
