Project Partner Support to Export-Oriented Innovative Small and Medium Enterprises This project is funded by the EU Gerard F. Bonnevay, Team Leader Tacis project «Support to export-oriented innovative SME» Project Partner

Project objectives: To promote an incentive business environment for export- oriented innovative SMEs. To enhance the capacity of BSOs to support innovative export-oriented SMEs. To support the development of innovative export-oriented SMEs. To develop relations between Russian and EU innovative export-oriented SMEs and BSOs/IECs, enhance information and disseminate results and good practice. This project is funded by the EU

Project Partner Planned outputs:1 Identify, monitor and possibly remove the barriers constraining the activities of EOI SMEs. Develop export and innovation policies. Develop specific financial support schemes for innovative export-oriented SMEs. This project is funded by the EU

Project Partner Planned outputs:2 Establish innovative and export-oriented BSOs/IECs in at least 5 regions. BSOs/IECs develop a portfolio of export and innovation oriented business services. Enhance specialised qualifications of Russian experts of selected business organisations. This project is funded by the EU

Project Partner Planned outputs:3 At least 20 selected pilot SMEs have introduced new technologies/products and/or increased exports and/or established business contacts with EU SMEs. Partnerships between EU and Russian SME support organisations and business links between EU and Russian SMEs are developed. Results and good practices of the project are disseminated and innovative export-oriented SMEs and business support organisations in the RF and EU are informed about the functions and capabilities of the BSOs/IECs.
