Why AI for car safety is important.

Introduction The subject of research is Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the automotive industry. Many advances have been made to make vehicles “smarter” and safer - Advances in Collision Detection - Parking Assistance Technology -AI-Assisted Controls -Conclusion

Definiton LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging): A mixture of radar and laser technology, which measures scattered light to find range or other information on a distant target through the use of laser pulses. You will often see police officers using lidar equipment to track vehicle’s speed. GFLOP: A unit for measuring calculations per second, 1 GFLOP being equal to 1 billion calculations per second. GHz: Measurement of speed in cycles per second, in this case applied to measure the speed of a computer’s processor. 1 GHz is equal to 1 billion cycles per second.
