What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.

What is Social Media?

Social media refers to interaction among people in which they create, share, and/or exchange information and ideas in online communities and networks.

What are some good things about using the internet/social media?

What can YOU do to help?

Talk and Take Action When someone sends you a mean or scary message online, here are some ways how to deal with it: Calm down. Pause and think how you can handle the situation. Finding help or telling a trusted adult or friend. Ignoring the bully can help. Keep proof of your communication with the bully.
