TIRE BALANCING

Tire Balancing WEAR YOUR SAFTY GLASSES!!!

KNOW YOUR TOOLS TIRE WIDTH CALIPER WEIGHT HAMMER

Select Proper Inner Alignment Cone

PUT TIRE ON MACHINE

Carefully Place Wheel Onto Balancer Quill Shaft

Slide Wheel Fully Up Onto Inner Cone

Use Hub Nut (spinner) to Tighten Wheel onto the Balancer Quill

MEASURE TIRE WIDTH WITH CALIPER

Determine “Away” Distance Using Laser Arm

Determine “Diameter” From Tire Size Listing On Both Sides of Tire

Wheel Balancer DISPLAY SCREEN

Insert “W”idth, “D”iameter, & “ A”way Settings into Balancer Display

After you are done entering the width on the keypad then put the shield down and the machine will test the tire and give you the results.

Select to Correct Amount of Weight From the Sorting Tray

After the machine gives you the results put the correct amount of weight on both sides of the tire.

Align the Balance Line As Shown, Add the Amount Of Weight Displayed At the 12:00 Position Of the Wheel. The Final Result Should Be ‘Zeros’ in the Left & Right Plane Displays

Remove the Finished Wheel From the Balancer, Put Away All Weights & Weight-Tools, Fill-Out Task Sheet With Required Info CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES. TAKE CARE OF YOUR WORK SPACE
