LEARNING ABOUT THE WEATHER RAIN, TEMPERATURE, AND WIND

WE MADE RAIN GAUGES!

WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW? IT RAINED THE NEXT DAY!

WE MADE THERMOMETERS! WE PUT THEM OUTSIDE AND CHECKED IT EVERY DAY TO SEE IF THE TEMPERATURE WAS HIGHER OR LOWER THAN THE DAY BEFORE.

NEXT, WE STUDIED PRECIPITATION WE LEARNED THAT RAIN IS A LIQUID THAT COMES FROM WATER DROPLETS IN THE CLOUDS. We did an experiment to make it rain inside the glass. Hot water rose to be cooled by ice on top of the plate. When the warm water droplets were cooled, they fell as rain.

WE LOVED WATCHING “RAIN” COME FROM THE CLOUDS.

WE MADE WIND VANES TO MEASURE THE DIRECTION OF THE WIND.

That’s what we have learned about weather. We hope you enjoyed the show!
