Introduction to eProg, Progression Requirements and Regulations

Progress on the programme Is recorded through eProg Has both University and School ‘milestones’ Requires input from both the student and supervisors Tracks progress through each year up to the submission of your thesis Training and development is also recorded in eProg

University milestones Expectations – every year in November - UoM procedures and regulations - Supervisory expectations - IP, ethics and training Attendance and Engagement - monthly - Supervisory meetings, compulsory training and seminars - UKVI compliance

School milestones Mid-year review - Interim review with supervisors to address any issues and plan for the annual review Annual review - Formal progress review to determine progression to the next year Others - Ethical approval, Researcher Development

Completion of milestones By the deadline given in eProg Automatic reminders are sent Progession Registration for the next year dependent on progression Requirements detailed at: pgrhandbook.portals.mbs.ac.uk/MyProgramme/ProgressionandReview pgrhandbook.portals.mbs.ac.uk/MyProgramme/ProgressionandReview

Submission Pending By application at the end of the standard programme via the Annual Review process For the purpose of writing up the thesis Progress recorded monthly Late Submission Submission beyond the final deadline of your programme is not permitted.

When things go wrong… tell us. Interruptions to the programme - Maximum of 12 months in total - Evidence to support application Extensions to submission date - Maximum of 12 months in total - Tuition fees are payable for the period of extension - Applications over 6 weeks decided by the Associate Dean in the Faculty.
