A story in which the characters, settings, and events represent something else.

Lion King of Narnia; Founder of Narnia; He is gentle, loving, powerful, and frightening;

Castle with four thrones for the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve. They will reign during the Golden Age. The Castle is beautiful with an ivory roof, tapestry hung walls, and riches.

Half horse and half man…one of the 9 classes of creatures in Narnia.

Sweet drink made from fruit or flowers. Lucy is given magical cordial by Father Christmas. It has healing powers.

These words are found on the Stone Table. It symbolizes the ultimate right and wrong…it has existed since the beginning of time.

The witch does not understand this… Only Aslan fully understands this magic; It is mercy that surpasses human understanding.

3 rd Pevensie child Has too close of dealings with the White Witch Tends to be moody and pouts. Later…is known as King Edmund the Just.

Aslan’s father The author of Deep Magic and Deeper Magic;

He signals the end of the 100 year winter… He gives special gifts to the Pevensie children.

The wolf that serves the white witch.

A giant that has been turned to stone by the white witch. Aslan releases him.

Mother of the white witch.

Marks the western boundary of Narnia.

Youngest of the Pevensie children. 1 st to go through the wardrobe and discovered Narnia; She cares most about others and is very close to Aslan. She has great courage; Known as Queen Lucy the Valiant.

Welcome the Pevensie Children into their home. They explain about Aslan and the white witch. They recite the 3 prophecies that foretell of the children’s coming to Narnia at the end of the Hundred Years of Winter.
