1/13/14 First full week back from Christmas Break! We will be really digging into 10 more/less than a number. The standards really wants the children to be able to tell 10 more or 10 less than a number with out them having to count it out. We will review the commutative property that we worked on last week.
1.There are 15 pieces of fruit in a basket. There are 5 apples, 1 banana and some cherries. How many cherries is in the basket? 2.How many more people like apples than banana’s? = If 3+5=8 then…….. I can give you the answer to 5-4 or 5+3? 5.10 more than less than more than less than __=10 10.__+6=12
