Types of Multimedia and MPC 1.Multimedia (Web-based Multimedia & Multimedia on CD/DVD ROM) - offer more in terms of presentation rather than interaction - requires more technical preparation - free and can be accessed by every web user - can offer computer-mediated communication

2. MPC (Multimedia Computer) the same as a standard PC, with the following additions: - a soundcard - speakers or headphones - a microphone - a CD-ROM (or DVD-ROM) drive
