Romeo and Juliet TABLEAUX VIVANTS -- LIVING PICTURES

 Tableaux Vivants (Living Pictures) are used in the worlds of art and theater to recreate famous works of art and recreate scenes from literature using backdrops, props, costumes, and live models. (we won’t be using props and costumes though ) TABLEAUX VIVANTS -- LIVING PICTURES

 Like frozen statues, the actors arrange themselves in an appropriate opening tableaux; the actors (YOU GUYS) will freeze in a scene to depict what was happening in your scene.  You do not speak in the scene; your actions and the way you are set up should reveal to the audience what is happening. How do we create a Tableaux?

 You will be working with Act III scenes 1-5  Each group will have a different scene to work with and you will be responsible with you group to decide which moments/lines in the scene you want to focus on. Each group member must participate in the tableaux. What will we do?
