Introduction ●Research question Does using a wellness program increase job satisfaction, performance, and decrease absenteeism? ●Why is it important? A simple addition to workplaces can improve an organization by having more efficient employees. ●What is our goal? To explore through surveys whether or not wellness programs and exercise impacts the success of an organization.

History of Health and Wellness Programs ●Promotes healthy activity and behavior and improve health benefits at work ●Growing since early 1900s ●Henry Ford o Drinking, diet, gambling, & personal matters

Hypotheses H1: The more an employee uses a health and wellness program, the higher their job performance. H2: The more an employee uses a health and wellness program, the more job satisfaction they will have. H3: The more an employee uses a health and wellness program, the less absences they will have.

Research Design -Electronic Survey: Qualtrics -One group based on how much they use the wellness program -Within-Case Design Format

Limitations -Only 60 respondents -Originally wanted to compare two groups -changed our whole survey -participants responded to state how much they use the program -JKJ- smaller, private company -constantly supplied with health and wellness information

Conclusion -Performance, Satisfaction, and Absenteeism are statistically significant -Will be applied to real world businesses
