Kleinburg Streetscape Original Study Completed Estimated budget to implement $3.95MM. Expect significant funding from “other sources” – public/private partnership BIA leading effort to raise enough to start detailed planning this year alignment of plans with Major Mack widening

TransCanada Parkway Pipeline Portions of line from Vaughan through Brampton to be ‘twinned’ including section from Kipling to Weston (to increase capacity) Concerns – capacity, pressure, integrity, route – met with TransCanada Originally planned to deviate from current route through subdivision at Kirby/Stephanie around south end of subdivision - KARA and Residents opposed Current plan is to keep along current right-of- way

Road Widening Major Mack planned to be widened to 4 lanes beginning in 2013 Pine Valley to Weston – 2013 Hwy 27 to Pine Valley – 2014 Hwy 27 to 50 – 2014 – 2016 Design will include potential to upgrade to 6 lanes in future Continue to push for bike lanes off the road Coordinate design with Streetscape at Islington/Major Mack. Meeting with residents and Region to discuss issues (safety, noise, aesthetics, etc.) and review design
