Objectives Students will identify connections between material learned in class & real world issues. Increased comprehension of materials following ODE model.

Read Anne Bradstreet’s essay on “New” and “Old” England. Cite examples of foreshadowing & predicting the American Revolution. Visit the Immigration Research Center & examine your family history. Look at photos from the Military History website and examine the photos from different conflicts to cite similarities & differences.

This presentations consists of many very useful websites. When teaching to the strands you need to have all kinds of activities, and that is what I tried to do. These websites and activities will definitely be useful to me as I develop my own lessons and activities for students.
