The ArchdemonProductions Presents

A production for the awareness of Genocide

The images displayed in this production are of an extremely graphic nature. It may be difficult to watch Viewer Discretion is Advised

“Too Often is the History of Man Written in the Blood of his Brother” Logan Shaw

Armenia

During and Just after WW1 the Ottoman Empire launched a systematic attack on the Christian minority known as the Armenians Armenians were killed during the 8 year genocide through beatings, death marches, burnings, and shootings No one was shown mercy. Men women and children were all targets of the genocide

The Armenian Genocide is to this day denied by the Turkish government. While the wounds may heal, this denial only renews them

Rwanda

The genocide in Rwanda was a 100 day campaign against the Tutsi tribe perpetrated by the rivalling Hutu tribe. Over the course of the hundred days in 1994 it was estimated over Tutsis were murdered They were commonly attacked with machetes by people they may have once called friends

The world knew of what was happening in Rwanda. There was news coverage every day of new attrocities against the Tutsis. Despite this, no one did anything to intervene. No new troops were sent, no supplies, and no real support for U.N troops already stationed there No one remained to help except for one man who is to this day haunted. His name is Romeo Dallaire

The Holocaust

The Holocaust was the planned systematic slaughter of the European Jewish population perpetrated by Nazi Germany. Over the course of the genocide nearly 6 million European Jews were killed, through either starvation, and exhaustion in the concentration camps or the assembly line slaughter of the gas chambers The Nazis showed no mercy to anyone of Jewish decent. Men, women, and children were worked to death, and many were subjected to medical experimentation

The Holocaust came to an end after allied forces retook Europe from the Nazis. We knew where the camps were, and had the ability to shut them down sooner than we did. All the same, many were shocked by what they saw inside the death camps

Darfur

From a civil war was waged between the Sudanese government, and liberation fighters. This civil war was centred around Darfur, where hundreds of thousands of innocent people were caught in the middle. Over men women and children were caught in the crossfire, and forced from their homes and placed in refugee camps. Men were killed outright, and women were raped as both armies moved across the land.

Despite the official conflict coming to an end, rape and murder on mass scales are still occurring in Darfur. This is a genocide that is happening now. We cannot afford to turn our back to it one more time.

“Genocide is the responsibility of the entire world” Ann Clwyd

Remember the dead Do not turn your back should this happen again You are the end of genocide If you would only lend your voice to the cause
