In this time teenagers hung out a lot like right now. They would go out for milkshake, parties, in their cars, with their loved ones, movies, skating rinks( where they also held sock hops=dances ). The huge difference was how we communicated. Most of the communication was direct speaking, letters and telephone calls. They had CD players and television but they didn’t have cable so they had antennas. To listen to music they would use a radio. The radio had about 7 channels.

M Y DADS LIFE Everyday to go to school my dad would walk because his school was really close. After school he would go out with his friends or go home. My dad and his brother would play basketball after school with their friends. If he went home he would help his mom to clean up the house. For cloths my dad would use his older brothers. My dad has 1 sister and 1 brother. When he had nothing to do he would do his homework, draw or sleep. One of my dads favorites things to do during the weekend is go racing with remote control cars. My dad likes playing around with computers.

Through out this time, teenagers hang out a lot. They mostly hang out at the beach, cinema, sometimes bars, parties, bowling alleys and malls. Sometimes they will all meet at someone's house and study. They even hang out with your loved ones. In this time for communicating we use the internet (facebook, Skype, and chat…ect.) cell phones and very rarely written letters. Within seconds you can speak to your friends and call your friends. To listen to music we would use phones, iPods and YouTube. We also use the radio.

M Y LIFE Everyday to go to school my dad would drive me because it takes 30 minutes to get to school and I cant drive. After school I would do my homework, go in the pool or go on the computer. For sports I play basketball, tennis and running. For cloths we would buy new ones pretty much every holiday. One of my favorite things to do during the weekend is go to parties or hang with friends.
