Biology

Biology - is a natural science concerned with the study of life. This includes the study of a living organism’s structure, function, origin, evolution, distribution and taxonomy. There are 5 fundamental principles that lay the foundation for Biology: 1.Cells are the basic unit of life. 2.New species and inherited traits are the product of evolution. 3.Genes are the basic unit of heredity. 4.An organisms will regulate its internal environment to maintain a constant and stable condition. 5.Living organisms consume and transform energy.

 Since Biology is the study of life… Let’s determine what is considered alive!  For the next 10 slides determine whether what you see should be considered “ALIVE”.  List a brief reason (1 sentence) justifying your answer.
