User Services Mission Statement: User services is committed to provide responsive and high quality desktop audio/visual support to FSU Administrative offices, University sponsored computer labs and classrooms.

User Services Technology Support (Lee McNeil) Academic Support (Jay Willoughby) –Technology Enhanced Classrooms (Earl Childers) –Audio Visual ( Ray Falcon & Ron Meyer) –University Computer Labs (David Schrader)

Technical Support Provides desktop support to selected administrative offices around campus including the President’s and Provost’s office. Current Initiatives –Deployment of applications to the desktop via Microsoft’s Systems Management Server (SMS) –Migration of Novell file sharing system to the Active Directory –Development of a Windows XP to Vista plan –Remote desktop management –Upgrade of student PC recommendations –Assist in the transition of Mailer/Garnet accounts to the JES environment
