What was he looking for? And where was he headed? Made an expedition intended to pass around South America. He just wanted to sail around the world. Afterwards it encouraged people to explore/sail around the world as well.

What was found? Was he Successful? Gold Silver and precious Pearls Landed off the coast of California and claimed for Queen Elizabeth. He realized that Tierra del Fuego was not part of a Southern continent.

Impacts of Voyage Inspired people to follow into his footsteps to explore around the world A new/more accurate map was created based on his geographic observations during his exploration Increase in knowledge of the geography of the world.

Reasons for his expedition Queen Elizabeth sent Francis out against the Spanish along the Pacific Coast of South America To experience what the world actually looks like

Where did he start? Started at Plymouth Raided Spanish settlements near Azores then went across the Atlantic, and arrived on the coast of Argentina. Led fleet into the strait of Magellan to reach the Pacific Ocean
