Interact Members were busy this summer supporting The Sunshine Festival on St. Simons Island. Members sold cold drinks and raffle tickets. A couple of club members helped beautify this old church in the South Harrington neighborhood.

Stewbilee Interact Club members volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club, providing fun children’s activities at Junior Stewbie Central.

Annual “Boo At School” Fundraiser We sold lollipop ghosts and bags of candy to the students at Glynn Academy for Halloween. This was our first fundraiser of the year.

Annual Interact Projects Fort Frederica National Monument

Nothing But Nets Our international project this year focused on Nothing But Nets, an organization that sends mosquito nets to infested areas to help stop The spread of malaria. We held a students versus Faculty basketball game to raise money for this organization.

Black History Month Festival Interact Club participated with a booth at Glynn Academy’s celebration of the Black History Month. Members handed out home- made samples of soul food to the students.

Book Drive Providing new and gently used books to first graders at Burroughs -Mollete Elementary School Last year we collected 1162 books! We are still collecting for this year’s book drive. Four hundred books and counting! Book Drive Collection Day
