Step 4: Make a Plot Many classic children’s stories are based around a certain circumstance; a few examples are: -The character is forced to leave home. -The character is born with an unusual physical quality. -The character is asked to go on an adventure. -The character encounters a mysterious/magical stranger. -The character receives a special magical gift.
