Rudder’s Lab, 22 Oct 09 React to Contact Reference: Texas A&M TACSOP pgs I. Situation: Rudder’s Rangers Company teaches tactics and soldier skills to prepare Brown Shirt class for BRC and LDAC. II. Mission: Rudder’s Ranger’s Company conducts a React to Contact Lab vic. Brayton FTC on OCT09 IOT prepare brown shirts for BRC and LDAC. III. Execution: 3a. Commander’s Intent- It is my intent to show brown shirts how to react to contact through a lesson, demonstration, and conducting a react to contact lane. 3b. Concept of Operation- After formation, the brownshirts will listen to a lesson by Cadet Austin Rutherford over react to contact. They will then view a demonstration by the 2nd PLT blackshirts. Then the brown shirts will be released to their SLs to practice react to contact. 3c. Task to maneuver units- 1.Primary instructor: Austin Rutherford 2.Secondary instructors: SLs and TLs 3.PSGs will direct movement of platoons to their teaching lanes. 4. 2nd PLT Cadre will act as demonstration team. 3d. Coordinating Instructions: 1.Uniform- PLs and PSGs in Cs&Ts. SLs, TLs, and Brown shirts in UCU with LBV with full canteens and pencil and paper. 2.Timeline- see annex B IV. Service and Support: 4a. POC for supply draw is Cadet Cameron Powell 4b. Supply needed: 110 ducks, 4 jerry cans, and 110 eye pro. V. Command and Signal 5a. Command- Succession of Command is CO, XO, 2PL, 1PL, 1SGT, 2PSG, 1PSG. 5b.
