Pronouns  Pronouns replace nouns, so we don’t have to repeat the noun.  “My mother is a good cook” becomes  “She is a good cook.”  Why are pronouns useful?  The pronouns are short easy words, and they replace longer nouns, so we don’t need to continue repeating the longer noun.
