Welcome to Introduction to Evaluation Kelly Bradley, Ph.D.

Course Purpose  This course is the study of evaluation.  We will cover Basic principles of evaluation Utilization of research and evaluation in practical situations Design and measurement  Theoretical  Philosophical  Jurisdictional  All framed within the context of: (1) evaluation, (2) assessment, (3) measurement, (4) statistics  Main Goal of Research – Methods courses is to improve and expand reasoning and critical thinking skills.

Course Assignments  Class Participation: 5%  Article Critiques: 15% each  Measurement Assignment: 15%  Reading Journal: 15%  Presentation & Handout: 15%  Course Questions: 20%
