What does “appropriate” mean?  Following the “Woodson Way”  Keep your hands and feet to yourself (No play fighting or tripping)  Not saying anything to another person that is mean or hurtful (in joke or to be mean)  Following Directions from adults in the building  Completing assignments and doing your best! Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson

So how can they use the points?  Sand Dollar Store:  Each month the Store is open for 1 Week  The student will be given their check with all the Dojo Points they earned for that month  They will be able to shop during their lunch shift  !! Any points they DO NOT spend used CANNOT be carried over to the next month!!  Instead: For the Holiday Bazaar Students will get a check with all the points they have earned from September to December to spend at the Sand Dollar Table.  Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson

What’s New With Incentives?  We have also laid the Rule to Rest!  Now students need to earn a minimum number of Dojo points each month to attend an incentive!  !!This is new and we will be starting low and raising the number until we have worked out all the kinks.  For Example: September = 50 points, October = 60 points, Nov = (Depends on our results from first two months)  We want this to be fair and equitable for all the students!  A Referral still removes a student from the Incentive!  !!Except September’s only an In-School or Out-of-School Suspension will remove a student!! Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson

Sports Day  4 Missed Monthly Incentives will prevent a student from earning Sports Day! Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson

Reward Tokens  Not All Staff members are able to access Dojo, and when a student does something that is worthy of recognition these members need to be able to provide that recognition.  Bus Drivers, Café Staff, Custodians, etc will provide Tokens to the students when they see them doing something commendable.  These Tokens can be placed in box, by grade, where a monthly drawing will earn them a special prize! Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson

Caught Being Good!  Students will put their fish into the “ocean” (Fish Tank)  Each Day a fish is “caught” (Drawn) and read on the morning announcements.  The winner gets a small prize and a Bracelet that says “Caught Being Good.”  Every Friday all the winners of the week are put into a big drawing where the winner gets  A gift certificate to Gordon’s  Their name on the Window of Fame  On certain Incentives those who have the Bands get special reward (Ex: front row seating).  Any Questions Please Direct Them to: Mr. Ballard, Mrs. Kinhart, or Mrs. Finlayson
