BE EPIC! CURRENT EVENTS & MARKETING

CASE SITUATION  You work as a marketing executive for the state of Arizona  The Governor wants a new campaign to rebrand the state, and has asked you to come up with a slogan that will boost tourism, attract businesses, and boost flagging morale.  He wants a tagline that becomes as iconic as “Don’t Mess with Texas.”  The governor wants to counter the negative perceptions that have pervaded the state after the last governor took an anti-immigration stance that encouraged racial profiling or Hispanics by law enforcement. This created a “boycott Arizona movement.”  Come up with a NEW TAGLINE idea and concept for the state.

WHAT DID YOU COME UP WITH?!? 

CASE SITUATION  You are an Entrepreneur looking to start a new venture. You want to remain profitable, yet create a business that has a larger purpose and social impact on the world.  You are to come up with a social cause that is meaningful to you, and then create a NEW business that can support that cause while being profitable.  Your passion for the cause will help you discover the product and the activism and social responsibility will help you market the company.  Decide on a product  Determine how you will also support your cause with the product or product sales.
