To Add a Slide Click New Slide on the formatting toolbar -or- Click Insert New Slide
Slide Design Click the Slide Design Button -or- Choose the Slide Design on the Task Pane Choose the design that fits your presentation
Slide Layout Choose the Slide Layout on the Task Pane -or- Click Format Slide Layout
Adding Text Placeholder Text-Click to add text to a placeholder Textbox Text-Click Text Box icon

To View Your Show Click Slide Show View Show -or- Press F5 Click the mouse or use the down or right arrow key to advance Press ESC to stop the show
Saving Your Work Click File Save or Save As Save-replaces the old file with any changes you have made Save As-allows you to save a new copy of a file that you have changed while leaving the original in place
Fun Little Trick While Viewing a PowerPoint –Pressing “B” turns the screen black –Pressing “W” turns the screen white
