To Open PowerPoint Click Start  All Programs Open the Microsoft Office folder and click on Microsoft PowerPoint

PowerPoint Views Normal View -main view for editing Outline View-great way to add content Slide Sorter View -view slides as thumbnails –In this view you can copy, delete, and rearrange slides Slide Show View -starts slideshow on current slide

To Add a Slide Click New Slide on the formatting toolbar -or- Click Insert  New Slide

Slide Design Click the Slide Design Button -or- Choose the Slide Design on the Task Pane Choose the design that fits your presentation

Slide Layout Choose the Slide Layout on the Task Pane -or- Click Format  Slide Layout

Saving Your Work Click File  Save or Save As Save-replaces the old file with any changes you have made Save As-allows you to save a new copy of a file that you have changed while leaving the original in place

Fun Little Trick While Viewing a PowerPoint –Pressing “B” turns the screen black –Pressing “W” turns the screen white
