3 rd -4 th Grade Reading Component of the ELA State Wide Test March 16 - April minutes/2 Sessions Students will be given passages or articles to read. The students will answer to Multiple Choice items, Open Response, Editing sentences or paragraphs, and Evidence Based responses (going back into the article to retrieve the answer).

3 rd -4 th Mathematics FSA Paper Based Testing The Mathematics FSA will have multiple choice questions and a possible series of written responses. Test is 80 minutes/2 sessions Testing window is March 16 – April 10

Math Standards Coverage 3 rd Grade Operations, Algebraic Thinking, and Numbers in Base Ten Numbers and Operations- Fractions Measurement, Data, and Geometry Students will NOT receive a reference sheet. 4 th Grade Operations, Algebraic Thinking Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Numbers and Operations- Fractions Measurement, Data, and Geometry Students will receive a reference Sheet.

4 TH Grade Writing Component (One day session) March 2 nd Students will be asked to write an essay. EXAMPLE: Write an essay in which you give your opinion/information about… Use information from the passages in your essay. Manage your time carefully so that you can Read the passages Plan your response Write your response Revise and edit your response Be sure to include: an introduction, support for your opinion, and a conclusion that is related to your opinion.
