Purpose - this class will show you how to get more out of: Excel PowerPoint Access Word

Excel Almost any employer will provide you with a spreadsheet like Excel. I assume you can create a simple sheet with formulas, etc. We’ll work on adding value to your skills: –Better spreadsheet design –Macros –Forms

VBA Programming Macros require some simple programming: Asking the user for input Decisions - Yes/No Displaying output Controlling menus Debugging

PowerPoint I assume most of you have some PowerPoint experience. Almost anyone can use Wizards to create a pleasing presentation We’ll work on the touches that change a basic slideshow into an outstanding presentation

Access Some of you have never used a database Traditionally the hardest to learn Most powerful tool for –Dealing with related data –Asking “Show me…” questions Can be used to create applications
