Service Learning: Spring 2006 By Brian Barrett

Why is Service work good? It benefits the environment and community. It benefits the environment and community. It shows others that you care about helping others. Habitat for Humanity Blazer Build VSU’s athletic department and student athlete advisory committee worked with the Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in need. What I did for the Blazer Build I went for a total of 4.5 hours. I went for a total of 4.5 hours. I helped with the interior and exterior of the houses. Kappa Delta Shamrock Project The Kappa Delta sorority at VSU is having a Shamrock project that is raising money toward the Prevent Child Abuse foundation. What did I get out of Community Service? Overall, I like to help others out who are in need. Overall, I like to help others out who are in need. I get the feeling that I am like I’m doing much, but to the people I am helping, it means a lot to them.
