Classroom Rules Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Prepared Be Cooperative Be Honest

Honor Code #1 I pledge I will RESPECT all people and be a positive influence at PCIS.   #2 I pledge I will do what I am asked the first time I am asked by any adult at school. #3 I pledge I will ask permission to speak or leave my seat.

Honor Code #4 I pledge I will be prepared for class and complete all assignments to the best of my ability.   #5 I pledge I will travel around campus in straight and quiet lines. #6 I pledge I will tell the truth at all times and will not cheat in any way on classwork, homework, tests or Accelerated Reader.

DEAR DROP EVERYHTING AND READ Morning –after they write assignments and unpack

Planners/Falcon Folders Planners go home daily Students will write down assignments first thing in the morning/or when they change classes I sign/stamp to let you know that I have seen the assignment written down (DOES NOT mean they completed it in class) A guardian should sign the planner every night. This is one way we communicate throughout the year. Falcon Folders go home every Tuesday. Sign the sheet on the inside to ensure us that you have looked at your child’s work. Return all papers to us for documentation. Papers will be returned at the end of each semester.

Dress Code The following are appropriate and expected of all students: All clothing must fit appropriately. Shirttails that are long must be tucked in. Belts must be worn at the waistline. All fasteners designed for use with an article of clothing will be used at all times. The following items may not be worn at school: Head covers including, but not limited to, hats, caps (except during PE), hairnets, stocking caps, sweat bands, scarves, and bandannas. Halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, tops that do not cover the chest or midriff, sheer or see-through tops, shredded or ripped tops, muscle shirts. Shredded or ripped pants, “cutoffs”, sheer or see-through pants. Shorts, skirts, dresses, or jumpers shorter than fingertips when hands are placed at the side. Spandex, biker, or tight fitting garments. Baggy, sagging, or oversized garments; clothes that expose undergarments. Sunglasses Clothing that depicts lewd or profane words or designs, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products. House shoes, shower shoes.

Telephone Calls During School Students will be allowed to make phone calls during their designated lunch time. They will not be allowed class time for phone calls. Cell Phones- Students are not to bring cell phones or other electronic devices to school or on the bus. This includes, but not limited to, tape recorders, tape players, beepers, radios, CD players, MP3 or IPOD players or video games.
