Calories and Exercise
Calories Calories are what you get when you eat food. Different foods will have a different amount of calories. Calories can be burnt while exercising. The formula for burning calories is kilometers x weight (kg) x = calories burnt. If you gain more calories than your body burns, you can get fat. If you gain less than what your body burns, you start to get thinner.
Foods and Calories Some foods have more calories than others. 1 plain donut: 185 Calories. McDonalds Big Mac: 299 Calories
If I ate a donut, and I wanted to burn all the calories, I would have to run about 6 kilometers. But I need some of those calories because I need energy.
