The Renaissance Begins World History Chapter 11 Section

Chimers- Jan. 20, 2015 List 5 things that you think about when you think about the country of Italy. How do those things shape Italian culture? How do those things shape American culture?

Daily Objectives Discover and explain how Italy shaped Europe during the Renaissance time period. Examine how the changes in art, architecture, sciences, literature, and other fields of study changed during the Renaissance time period.

Marco Polo From Venice Goal was to meet Kublai Khan Kublai Khan was amazed by the stories from Marco Polo Polo’s connection to the far east established a trade relationship with the once inaccessible Far East

Map Activity On page 287, I want you to make your own map of the Italian Peninsula. Make sure that you list all of the territories, and chart those territories in the appropriate places on your map. Write a 6-8 sentence paragraph that explains how these cities might have helped and hurt one another with trade.
