Elie Weisel was 15 when he and his family were taken by the Nazis. Night is a terrifying account of the death camp horror that turns him into an agonized witness to the death of his family, his innocence, and his God.

Elie was born in Sighet, Romania. His story begins there in World War II had already begun and Hitler was crossing Europe. His slaughter was about to begin.

Elie was liberated in 1945 by American troops.
