Feedback from Interim Sampling Common Evidence Sampled Learner workbooks, worksheets, presentation materials, witness statements, observations, photographs, diagrams, mind maps, research projects. Good Practice Sampled Overall high standard of work in portfolios (Entry 2 to Level 2) Portfolios very personalised to learners Good standard of written work by learners Very positive tutor/assessor feedback on learners work Good examples of workbooks – we need to share good practice Annotations on work by learner Some examples of learners cross referencing their own evidence to assessment criteria

Feedback from Interim Sampling Actions: Learner to authenticate evidence to show it is their own work – typed and printed evidence Ensure all assessment criteria are met Annotate photographs / posters / flip charts / printed information Evidence to be clearly cross referenced on unit checklists with dates work has been signed off Ensure evidence is complete before it is cross referenced Ensure the unit is completed before it is signed off

Feedback from Interim Sampling Areas to take forward and develop: Schools/ESC’s with more than one tutor/assessor to try and standardise cross referencing systems Learner to label and cross reference their own evidence – if possible Recording of learner progress – candidate progress records Learning outcomes for each unit to be signed and dated by assessor and learner Sharing of workbooks / materials across the hub?
