INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March Summary NA2 brief overview Procedures and rules NA2 quality metrics First activities performed Planning

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March NA2 Brief Overview/Tasks Task NA2.1 WP coordination (ENG) Task NA2.2 dissemination - promote the adoption of the ETICS system in coordination with the rest of the project (ENG,CERN, INFN, 4DSOFT) Task NA2.3 training - promote training services in coordination with the rest of the project (CERN, INFN, 4DSOFT) Task NA2.4 ETICS Grid-QCM - maintain the Grid-QCM, promote and validate it with target user communities and integrate it with other existing quality procedures (ENG, CERN, VEGA, 4DSOFT) Task NA2.5 Long-term sustainability strategies – analyse and define possible commercial exploitation plans (ENG, CERN, INFN, 4DSOFT, VEGA)

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March NA2 Brief Overview/Activities Organize and participate to international events conferences and scientific working groups Collaborate with the infrastructure providers Spread contributions and results from the SA and JRA activities Prepare brochures and any other dissemination material Organize training events and workshops Maintain the ETICS Grid-QCM Prepare ETICS sustainability plan

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March Summary NA2 brief overview Procedures and rules NA2 Quality metrics First activities performed Planning

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March Procedures and rules Approval Procedure to dissemination activities – –Announce intentions partners should announce the possible need for a specific dissemination action to the NA2 WP leader and participants through the WP mailing list. This should be done at least two weeks prior to the requested action to be taken. – –Obtain Approval NA2 WP leader will ask the ETICS PMB for approval. Unless an objection is raised, approval is obtained implicitly.

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March Procedures and rules Generic Guidelines for ETICS2 events and material: Follow the approval procedure Partners should not initiate ETICS dissemination activities on topics that fall out of their involvement in the project, without consulting NA2 WP Leader Slides and papers sent to NA2 WP leader two weeks prior to the event for comments All dissemination material should identify ways of acknowledging ETICS PMB decides on conflicts.

INFSOM-RI ETICS 2 Kick Off – Dissemination – CERN, Geneva – 18 March Procedures and rules Generic Guidelines for participation to events: Getting ready for the event inform NA2 participants of event to prepare dissemination material Attending the event presentations sent to NA2 WP leader prior to the event for comments After the event provide NA2 WP leader a brief memo on the event (topic, impressions, outcome etc.) and final version of slides presented
