The Stewardship Council protects and enhances watershed lands and uses, and invests in efforts to improve the lives of young Californians through connections with the outdoors. Mission

Land Conservation –141,000 acres –22 counties 100% to be protected by easements or equivalent Approximately 50% of lands available for donation

Progress To Date Award winning planning documents – Volumes I and II of the Land Conservation Plan Transparent, inclusive planning process Master 851 Application approved by CPUC Successful collaboration among pilot project stakeholders Strong land conservation team in place
